Rich Kuras from Effinfunny.com was at Comic-Con interviewing costumed characters to see who they would vote for.
Guess what Black Nerd in a certain Scooby-Doo costume makes his way into the piece? Yes, it’s me, plus talks about “Rarack Rorama.” The video is also available on YouTube.
Saturday’s not over yet! Here’s what happened for the rest of that day at the fabulous Comic-Con! And on top of all these adventures, I handed out pretty much all of my postcards! Yay!
SATURDAY (CONT’D)
In addition to meeting voice-over artists, Scooby-Doo creators, basketball players, and even some Black Nerd Comedy fans who recognized me (with and without the Scooby suit), I got to run into some other “Cewebrities” promoting at Comic-Con.
It’s time for more adventures of my Comic-Con experience. And the welcomed visit of an old friend… my Scooby-Doo costume.
FRIDAY
With a bag full of postcards and a bigger bag full of costume, I entered a bathroom stall as Black Nerd and exited as Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
I didn’t know how my Scooby-Doo costume would be accepted at Comic-Con.
Turns out it was a success.
Literally seconds after entering the floor, I was approached by Comic-Con patrons to take pictures. Which made it easy to get a Black Nerd Comedy postcard in their hand (the postcard also was of me in the costume).
I was quickly approached by a production assistant that “John” wants to interview me.
That John was John Salley of The Best Damn Sports Show Period.
I hope you all have a wonderful 2008 full of joy, cheer, and of course, lots of black nerd comedy. You know, for the first time in years, I actually kissed a girl when the clock struck 12 for the new year. Could this be a sign that this is the year that this black nerd turns into a ladies man?
Well, the thought was fun while it lasted. Happy New Year.
I can’t believe I spent my birthday weekend at the fabulous Playboy Mansion and still managed to be a nerd about it.
One thing some of us actors do to earn extra money over the Halloween season is play improv characters or dress up as monsters for Halloween parties, haunted houses, and the like.
I personally haven’t done this type of thing in years, but when invited to do it for said mansion, I decided to get back into it, because…
1. I would get to go to the Playboy Mansion.
2. I would get to go to the Playboy Mansion.
3. It sounded like a lot of fun.
4. I would get to go to the Playboy Mansion!!!
