We’ve done it again! Buy Mii a Wii hit 100,000 views on YouTube back in 2008, and now I am proud to announce that Konami Code (Paper Planes Parody) has done the same!

It officially went over 100,000 views this past Saturday night, April 10, 2010. I was going to see Upright Citizens Arcade starring “Keith Apicary” at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles when I checked my cell phone and saw the news on the views. And how’s this for awesome? When finding out about the honor, I was actually with Rob Welkner of Coin-Op TV who makes a cameo appearance in the video, and Roger Barr, creator and star of Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum where I performed the song live. What a celebration!

Not too long ago, I posted my guest appearance on Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum, where we mocked the movie The Black Cobra and I performed Konami Code live on the show. Now you can see a quick clip of the performance. Thanks to theStream.tv for posting the clip. There are very few rappers who can say they performed on stage with a mad doctor, a hot nurse and a walking eyeball. I can now say I’m one of those rappers. Take that, Jay-Z!

This past Friday, I was the special guest on Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum. It’s such a cool show: a mix of MST3K and those late night local movie shows they used to air back in the day. The movie is The Black Cobra starring Fred Williamson. At the end of the episode, I perform “Konami Code (Paper Planes Parody)” LIVE! And if that weren’t enough, there’s also a drinking game you can play while watching. Details in the video.
