You’ve seen postings about it throughout the site for the past week, but now I’m writing it in the blog to make it official. I have my own show on the Internet, BLACK NERD LIVE!

Recently, Revver teamed up with LiveVideo, and as a result, some Revver users were asked to join LiveVideo and start live shows. I was one of those people.

My first shows were last week (Mar 18, 20, and 23 respectively). And in each show, I bring up a topic, rant and rave, make people laugh, show off videos, and communicate with you through chat room or webcams of your own.

Visit my profile on LiveVideo or the Comedy Calendar for dates of upcoming shows. After a few weeks of getting the hang of the show and showtimes, I’ll try to make some permanent day and times. Until then, join in on all the fun at www.livevideo.com/liveshow/blacknerd.

Every weekday, The Revver Blog chooses the “Video of the Day,” a personally selected video enjoyed by the Revver crew to highlight. And I’m proud to announce that “Computer Club” was the Revver Video of the Day for Friday, January 25. Here’s the quote from Revver:

“Today’s video is from Black Nerd Comedy. The moniker sums up the schtick pretty nicely, but it’s the perfectly convincing execution that takes this beyond ‘fun with stereotypes’ and lands it squarely in the same region of genius inhabited by Christopher Guest and Catherine O’Hara.”

Doing this website and videos have been loads of fun. I love it. And now it’s nice to know that others love me, too, just like people love New York (the state, not the VH-1 “celebrity”).

Here are some hot blogs about black culture, nerd culture, and even Gremlins fanatics, that had great things to say “about your boy” (Is that how rappers say it? Or is that that movie that starred Hugh Grant?)
