This is a special video I made for Comedy.com (the awesome people who called me one of the 10 Best Unknown African-American Comics). I break down why Lost and Heroes hate black people. And I make a pretty compelling argument if I say so myself. Think about how many African-American characters have been killed in each show. It’s a conspiracy, I tells ya! A conspiracy. (It’s also a joke people, so don’t take this too seriously.)

At, René (the Haitian) is still alive. Only shows up three times a year, but at least he’s still alive.

I am feed up hearing rants on how someone is against blacks and how Lost and heroes hate black people, why are you speading hateful trash like this, just fuel to get people rilled up. Slavery has been over for 150 years, when are you going to drop it and stand up for yourself?

  6. Andre BlackNerd Andre BlackNerd says:

I had no intention to get people “riled up” as you put it. I was just joking around with pop culture. That’s what I do with every video I make. Personally I think the real problem is we as a society have not dealt with racism properly, we always try to act like it’s not there when it surely is. So when someone like myself even jokes about it, people try to use it as a springboard for a heated discussion.

I stand up for myself every day in everything I do. My whole website is about that, embracing myself as a black nerd. I can assure you, anybody really trying to fight racism will not be using Lost and Heroes as their examples, ha ha :) And if you see how detailed I am with the comments of this video, you’d know I actually do like both series. This was done very tongue-in-cheek, and while I understand your anger, I don’t know if this is the thing to be angry about. But I do appreciate your comments.

Shaun, LOL. Best. Comment. Ever. And what flavor is the pie? I’m hungry!

    Awesome. :D

Came to this site by way of the video and Sci-Fi Latino.

I have to admit, I stopped watching Heroes after that lame first season finale, the least of which was how DL died.

The fight with Sylar was what made me throw my hands up in disgust.

And Lost, I can forgive because J.J. Abrams is giving us The Undercovers, which I’m feening for like crack!

AN HOUR LONG DRAMA ON REGULAR NON-CABLE, PRIMETIME TV, not a sitcom… A DRAMA starring *TWO* BLACK PEOPLE.

J.J. can kill every brown person on LOST and I will *still* be doing a celebratory cabbage-patch over this. :D

Dude… I was pretty hurt when they cancelled “Heroes” and didn’t have much of a sense of humor about it.

You fixed that. This… was hilarious. I don’t even WATCH “Lost”, but you made it interesting (or at least a great deal more coherent).

Fantastic work. Anybody who came @ you sideways was DEFINITELY a Hater.

I like the way your mind works, my brother. I’ve already watched it twice. I’ll probably watch it 10x that. You got a new fan.
