Yesterday, I got the opportunity to go to the offices of Revver.com and meet all the fine folks up there. They had been featuring a couple of my videos recently, and once we discovered we were in the same area, it seemed inevitable that we had to come face to face.
So here we are, Revver, face to face. A couple of silver spoons. Hoping to find, we’re two of a kind… okay, I’ll stop singing now.
Revver is awesome! It’s the Internet video service I used to host all of my content on my website (thank to their recently added easy integration into Wordpress) and on my iTunes podcast (which I know you all are signed up for).
Their compression is top-notch and the opportunity to earn money through their videos is a great service to us, the content providers.
We had wonderful talks about my videos (which they love, thanks guys), my background, what all they do in the office, and offered me wonderful advice as I continue to make fun videos for you all. They were all great people, and you could tell they really value the people who freely post on their site.
Hopefully, I’ll get to work on fun projects with Revver in the future, but at the very least, it was great to get in touch with them and see the “man behind the curtain” as it were. Special thanks to Kory, Alex, and Jonathan who I got to talk to most extensively while up there.
YouTube is the Internet video behemoth… we all know that… but if you haven’t yet, give Revver a try. There’s some really cool stuff on there, it looks nicer, and most of it’s even downloadable for your iPod thingies that you kids today carry around.

Thanks a lot. I know you were busy, but hopefully we’ll get to talk more the next time I’m there. And I will definitely keep the great work coming, I promise!

Alex,
Thanks a lot! Blog love is sometimes the best kind of love. I really appreciate the Christopher Guest comment, too. I would love to be in one of his films!
